Sunday, May 4

What a great day to celebrate Betti's 60th birthday.

Betti celebrated with 25 plus women, 3 being college roommates with a catered affair of crudities, wine, champagne and desserts.

The day started out dreary when I left the house but by time I arrived in NYC it was warm and sunny. The courtyard was so lovely with beautiful plants, sculpture and water feature, I wish I had taken a picture to share. Up to the 11th floor I went to set up for the afternoon of bracelet making, or as many women expressed..."an arts and crafts table!"

One of the lovely bracelets completed that day and would you believe there isn't one picture of the many unique pieces!

If you take a close look you will see these amazing twisty gold and silver necklaces Betti presented everyone. I believe these unique pieces were a find from her 6 wks in India but not positive.

On my way back to CT I was fortunate to be able to stop at the Aussie's for a bit. We haven't spent much time together lately so my brief moment was a great pick-me-up.

On my 2hr drive I had the opportunity to think of many things. One of the things I needed to complete was my Round Robin book of the month. The theme for May was lyrics so when the sun came out, all I could hear is the Beatles, Good Day Sunshine over and over. This was created and shipped off.

The day spilled over to the afternoon where Being Eight and I went to the nusery for flowers to plant in the front planter. He had such a great time choosing the colors and I think he did a great job!
