Earth Day

was celebrated a little late due to spring vacation...

We learned about kayaking...

backpacking and

beautification...

See the frog

and turtles...

Chalk drawings and

terrariums were done in the sun...

the creative paper mess was part of making new paper...

Let me tell you about my best friends!

making stained glass votives.

We listen to songs about the Earth

and stories of the earthworm.

Can you find them?

We took rose petals and made potpourri balls.

With a chunk of clay

and some instruction...

we created toad houses...

Earth Day was a fun and informative day for children and adults alike!

All pictures, except for best friends, were taken by four 2nd graders.
