Artgirlz Retreat...

Friday night, with my overnight bag and art supplies packed, I headed to New London to pick up the Aussie at the railroad station. From there, we would drive to RI and spend the night at a local motel, to be in time for the 9AM Artgirlz Self Portrait...

We had an amazing dinner of fish and chips; there is nothing like a fish dinner on the shore.

Back at the room, we solved the world's problems and tried to solve a few of our own...

With breakfast eaten and a coffee in hand, we took a quick ride to the ocean before heading to the girlz'. I love looking at the ocean view homes, don't you?

We were greeted by Tracy and Sue, outside tending to their gardens and chickens. We were soon joined for a new round of hugs by Allison as we discussed the strawberry plantings from the day before.

After a quick tour of the house, we were joined by some wonderful women, including Linda, one of our Art Is teachers .

I adore this greenhouse!

Rosie...the girlz #1 gal...gave up her gorgeous Saturday to come work...

Although not pictured, Rosie did join us for lunch in the glorious warmth of the sun.

Sue was telling us about the turkeys we had going across the yard.
