Christmas!

It started with snow,

decorations of garlands,

bowls of snow,

snowmen and Grinch's,

a visit from Santa,

and ended with messes...

It was a wonderful day of family and friends gathered here at the house. Those that couldn't be with us, were with us in our hearts and in spirit.

The food was plenty! The shrimp cocktail, the crackers topped in cream cheese with sun dried tomatoes and raw veggies were all yum. We had our normal Christmas meal of steak and tuna steak on the grill accompanied by green salad and baked potatoes, followed by cheese cake and cherries, if so desired, along with the cookie platter Gramma KK sent along.

There were games played and lots of catching up to do. The most popular thing for the boys (both young and old) to do? Guitar Hero World Tour...the girls dressed the American Girl dolls and styled her hair whilst she sat in her beauty chair.

With the day done and the guest gone home, the finishing clean up touches were done.

I got a few perfectly me gifts I will post later, but the best gift of all, was the gift of family gathered together.

As I reflect on the day, it was in the top 10 of all holiday get togethers.
